Ellen Hitchen

Ellen has worked at a large personal injury, commercial and family law firm in Sydney’s CBD for the last 10 years. Ellen first worked as a paralegal while she completed her legal studies, and then for the past seven years has worked as a solicitor and Associate practising in a variety of areas of general litigation, most recently Wills and Estates including Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship documents. Ellen has also practised in the areas of employment and discrimination law, defamation, making and defending claims for family provision, and of course, family law.

Ellen holds a Bachelor of Science and a Graduate Bachelor of Law from the University of New South Wales. Ellen has an unrestricted Practising Certificate in New South Wales.

Ellen has been involved in both large and small scale litigation across a variety of jurisdictions and Tribunals including the Family, Federal and Federal Circuit Courts of Australia, the Fair Work Commission and the New South Wales Local, District and Supreme Courts.
