Sarah Goldfinch

Sarah understands that separation and Family Law matters are emotionally draining, time consuming and expensive. She is committed to achieving the best possible results for her clients through negotiations or Family Dispute Resolution (such as mediation) whilst providing her clients with detailed advices and ensuring they are adequately supported throughout this process.

Sarah is also experienced in appearing before the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Family Court of Australia in both parenting and property matters and appears in the Newcastle, Parramatta and Dubbo Registries.

Prior to joining Merridy Elphick Lawyers, Sarah was employed as a solicitor in a private Newcastle CBD firm where she practiced in Family Law, Civil and Commercial Litigation, Wills and Estates, Property Law and Criminal law. This experience allows Sarah to provide her clients with comprehensive advice and an understanding of how various areas of law can impact upon their Family Law matters.
