Stephen Smith

Stephen joins the Progressive Law team as a mediation consultant. He will be helping Progressive Law’s client’s resolve conflict and find mutually beneficial solutions to problems in a more comfortable and informal setting outside of court. Stephen has owned and operated S&H Engineering in Chelmsford, MA for more than 30 years. . Like most small business owners, Stephen has done it all while growing and maintaining his business, from preparation of customer proposals and cost estimates, customer contracts, negotiating and obtaining financial banking, to capital equipment acquisition. He has been on both sides of the table dealing with legal issues over the years and can personally relate to Progressive’s clients while helping them find a solution that benefits both sides. Stephen holds a Juris Doctor from the Massachusetts School of Law, a Ph.D. in Engineering Management, and a Master’s in Business Administration.
